In January 2011, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal designated him as Lieutenant Colonel, Aide De Camp Governor's Staff. For 30 years, she was the face you saw when your entered Rossville High/Middle School, having worked in the main office. She has been married to Gary Hasty for 54 years and is a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she also sings in the choir. Doris graduated from Rossville High School in 1960 and was chosen Homecoming Queen her senior year. We are pleased to have Doris as a member of the Lane-South Crest staff.

Kirk is a native of Stevenson, Alabama and lives in Ft. He has been with Lane Funeral Home-South Crest Chapel for 6 years. Oglethorpe where is a choir member and serves on the sound team. He has four children, Teresa, Garry, Kevin and Renee and five grandchildren.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Jones of Ringgold, Georgia, born in Rock Spring, Georgia, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Formerly worked with Western Union and retired from Greyhound, where he served as a bus driver. He belongs to the Greyhound Retirees and Western Union Retirees. He enjoys barbershop singing and is a member of the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Barbershop Chorus along with the Georgia Cattlemen's Association.

Jim served as a trustee of the Cleveland State Community College Foundation and is a past director of then Northwestern Technical College in Walker County, Georgia. He is a graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development.
She was the recipient of the Civitan of the Year Award in 2008 and 2009 and was recently recognized as the 2009 Woman of Achievement Award recipient by the Rossville Business & Professional Women's Club. In 2008, she was recognized as the Walker County Patriot of the Year. Susan is a graduate of Rossville High School and Edmondson Business College. She and her husband Dewane live in Flintstone and have two sons, Jeremy and Jay-Scott, and two granddaughters.
She and her husband Jack have been married for 54 wonderful years and have two daughters, five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
